Filipinos believe that sleeping while their hair is wet can cause blindness, or even worse, you’ll go crazy! Though experts did not medically prove it, and I also don’t believe in such things, Filipinos still avoid sleeping while their hair is wet.
As my Filipina girlfriend says, it was taught to them by their parents and grandparents, so she doesn’t usually take a bath before sleeping because she will get scolded by her father. (Hehehe)
