Have you ever gone shopping in the Philippines? Or have you heard about how cheap Filipino things were? Well, this fun fact about Philippines that I am going to share this time is related to the things you’d expect when going shopping in the country.

“Buy one, get one free" or “two for the price of one" is a common form of sales promotion, especially in the Philippines, and this is one of the reasons I love to go shopping in the country. You can literally see a lot of amazing and nice things for sale. From foods, clothes, underwear, even cellphones and a lot more! Just think of it, you’re spending about a hundred dollars for just one shirt but when you’re in the Philippines, you can buy many things for a hundred dollars.
When I was in the country, I was so shocked to see a lot of buy 1 take 1 with a reasonable price and in good condition. I was so into it and picked everything that I liked, and I don’t have to worry about the price since I can buy lots of from my budgeted money. At the end of my shopping spree, I noticed that I have a snag! I CAN’T CARRY THEM ALL! (HAHAHA)
Even if it’s not a holiday, like Christmas or New Year, the buy 1 take 1 sale is still on! So if you decided to visit the Philippines at any day or time of the year, you can still see and buy, BUY 1 TAKE 1 thing.
