Amazing Fun Fact About Philippines: Rice Is Life (Comic)
Interesting And Surprising Fun Fact About Philippines
The last time I posted about Filipinos’ favorite fast food restaurant, the Jollibee. I also mentioned a few restaurants that you can find in the country, such as the Mang Inasal. Now let’s take a look at this another amazing fun fact about Philippines.

I am going to share about this wonderful restaurant and how much Filipinos love rice. When you decided to visit Mang Inasal, you’ll notice that most people eating here are not using utensils. They don’t use spoons and forks, or chopsticks, when they eat the chicken and rice they use their hands. Don’t be surprised because that is one of the Filipino cultures. Mang Inasal is a place where you can eat unlimited rice. They have different types of foods and desserts on their menu too. So you don’t have to worry about eating the same dish.
When I went there with my Filipino friend, I was not shocked because they use their hands while eating, but because they eat a substantial amount of rice. Hahaha! I was struggling to finish one cup of rice while most of them were already asking for more and more rice!
Here’s an example of many bags of rice being sold in the market. By this photo, you’ll see how much Filipinos love rice!
How about you? Do you love eating a lot of rice? How many caps of rice can you eat? Let us know in the comment section below. I really appreciate it if you leave us a comment.
