Traffic: Another Fun Fact About The Philippines

In my last blogs, I talked about a different fun fact about the Philippines and if you haven’t read them yet, check out this first blog we published. It’s about the things you’ll expect to see when you first land in the country. (Note: It’s still in Japanese)
These fun fact that I’m going to tell you in this blog is no longer new to everybody, traffic! Traffic is a common thing everywhere in the world. Even in Japan, or America, you can experience the traffic, but in the Philippines, it’s very-very-very traffic.

If you have an appointment somewhere, whether it’s near or far, you have to go 2 hours before the time. Why? Because you might get stuck for hours in a traffic jam. And you don’t want to be late for that appointment, do you? It may be sound exaggerating, but trust me, the traffic in the Philippines is a little too much. Even bag snatchers can’t move forward. (Hahaha)
The big cities in the country may be dangerous to some of us. You may encounter bad guys who will snatch your bags or some pickpockets. So, just a reminder, please be mindful of your important things. I am not saying they’re dangerous only for foreigners but also for Filipinos. However, these types of crimes were also present in different countries, not just in the Philippines.
Recently, the Philippines allowed tourists to enter, and if you have plans to visit, make sure to remember the things I mentioned above, and here’s the Philippines – COVID-19: Changes to Entry Protocols and Travel Ban (Requirements)
What’s your traffic jam story in the Philippines? Let us know in the comic section below.
If you’re interested in silent comics, we released a silent comic recently with few to no conversations between the characters.
Have a great day!
